Fabulous find! Marti's store used to be located in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico but moved to San Antonio, Texas sometime in the past. According to the tag this vintage Mexican jacket is from the original Marti's. I used to visit the store in Mexico a lot. Very high end Mexican clothing, jewelry, pottery, etc. In fact, I bought my wedding dress there in the 1970's. Multi colored ribbons on an off black background with a yellow cotton trim. The equivalent of this jacket would sell for over $250 today.

The jacket is in excellent vintage condition. There are a few places where the fabric is thin and when you hold it up to the light you can see through them but when on they look like part of the weave. I will send closeups of the flaws if interested.

There is no fabric content tag. I am guessing cotton. There is no size tag. I am guessing small. Shoulder to shoulder 17 1/2", bust 18 1/2", length from back of collar 29", sleeve length 21 1/2". Measurements taken flat.

I would recommend dry cleaning. It has been dry cleaned and is ready to wear!

There are two front pockets with beautiful applique (molas?) and also applique on the sleeves.

Very, very cool!
