So awesome!!! A certain treasure. This book is a textbook guide to letter writing and spelling, as the title suggests. It is broken down into the following chapters: spelling and defining, models of introduction, exercises in conclusion, rules for punctuation, letters asking payment, and more. The 1910 census information is particularly fascinating to me. Incredible!

This book does have some issues, as shown in the photos. The binding is damaged inside, and a few pages (not many, but at least a few) are missing. Several pages are loose, but present. The hardbound cover is intact, but worn around the edges. It is a beautiful, rich, deep peacock-slate blue color.

220 pages.
The very last page is an advertisement/catalog listing of numerous available textbooks produced by The Practical Textbook Company of Cleveland, Ohio.
