I dyed the silk fibres a gorgeous lime blending through to purple, felted on to mauve wool on a brown background. The silk catches the light beautifully.

I nuno felted this scarf by hand. I placed the wool and silk fibres onto the cotton fabric and made it all wet with soapy water. I then rubbed and rolled and rubbed and rolled and rubbed and rolled until the fibres worked their way through the fabric! It’s a very physical process!!

I hand dye all my materials and each scarf is unique.

Colours: Lime through to purple silk on a mauve wool, on a brown cotton background

Materials: Merino wool, mulberry silk fibres, cotton fabric.

Size: Approx 153cm x 28cm, 60ins x 11ins

Wash Care
Hand wash in luke warm water with a gentle soap.
Roll in a towel to remove excess water.
Reshape whilst damp.
