Inspired by my love of nature, these Australian bush themed Christmas activities are originally hand drawn by me, with love. I initially created these activities for my kids to try and minimise screen time and get them learning about our environment.

I have done the work for you!

With these printables you’ll be able to easily keep the kids happy, occupied and learning with minimal effort. I have squeezed in as much value as possible! Buy them once and use them for your kids each year, and see how their imagination grows over time.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

All activities can be done with the following items-
• A4 white paper or card stock ~80-200gsm. I recommend recycled paper to help save the trees!
• ability to print a pdf file (pdf reader on a computer plus printer or access to a print shop)
• scissors
• string/ribbon
• glue and/or tape

These items will be useful as well-
• hole punch
• colouring pencils, crayons or textas
• a selection of leaves, sticks, nuts and flowers from the garden
• cardboard eg back of a cereal box
• ability to print A3 as some of the activities work well in larger size (not essential though! Could try a printing place such as Officeworks)

AGE GROUP
So far, this product has been successfully tested with kids aged 3 – 12, with adult supervision. I designed the activities so that everyone in the family can be entertained, but younger children may need assistance with some of the tasks, eg using scissors, glue etc.

PRINTING
Ensure you select the correct size (A4) and paper type in your printer settings for best results.

If your printer is not A4 and you need to print at a different size (eg US letter size 8.5’ x 11’), please set the desired paper size on your printer, and select 'PRINT TO FIT'. (Please note I have not printed these activity sheets on any other size so I can’t guarantee the result.)

You could also choose to print at a print shop (eg Officeworks).

TEACHERS
Teachers are permitted to use these activities in classrooms. One bundle is required to be purchased per teacher, and then the activities can be printed over and over for use in any future classes of that teacher. Files cannot be shared to teachers that have not purchased the files.

ACTVITIES
Most activity sheets have instructions for them written on the page. The Nature Collage is designed for foraged leaves, flowers and gumnuts to be collaged in the shape of the Christmas Tree, but the Wreath leave and gumnut decorations can be used for the collage as well.

Use your imagination and creativity and most importantly, have fun!
