This unique piece of vintage folk art depicts a European peasant girl carrying a large bunch of grapes. The art is painted on a beautifully aged piece of reclaimed wood, and has a small, illegible signature.

We contacted the wonderful experts at the Polish Art Center in Hamtramck, Michigan to ask if this was a portrait of Polish heritage. Based on the details of her outfit, they believe this is a general depiction of a European peasant girl of no specific culture. However, they explained that the grapes in the image may point toward a more southern region of Europe.

The entire piece measures 35" tall x 12" wide, and comes with steel hanging hardware attached to the back. This is a wonderful piece of folk art that will make a beautiful statement piece in your home.
