Japanese style-Ikebana vase. Use only two or three flowers to make a simple, beautiful arrangement. Place flower stem onto metal prong and fill with water. Flowers will stay fresh much longer. Perfect for a small space.

Made on my potters wheel with white stoneware and glazed with a slip trailed (slightly raised) leaf design. The lower section of the vase has a matte glaze with the look and feel of a smooth river rock. It is a nice contrast with the glossy glaze at the top.

4 inches wide with a 2 1/4 inch opening. The vase is 2 inches high

The pin frog (metal prongs) is permanently attached
