Hard to find larger sized over bust reproduction Victorian corset hand constructed from quality yellow floral wallpaper stripe durable coutil cotton. Perfect for Civil War or historic reenacting and works for time periods from the 1850s through the 1870s. Details include steel boning for maximum support and front closing busk which will not bend out of shape like cheaper ones will. Metal grommets are spaced close together for extra strength since lacing creates a lot of stress on the edges of a corset. Double laced so you can adjust bust and hip fit. Trimmed in small checked binding and lace.

Note that this corset is shown fitting loose on the mannequin. Ideally you should have more than 2 inches space between the back sides so that laces can be adjusted by pulling in. Corsets should not close together in back like they are often shown in the media nor should the lacing be in the front. If you do historical reenacting, you should take into account this being worn over a chemise.

You might see less expensive corsets but those are usually made from synthetic fabrics that are uncomfortable to wear, tear easily, and eventually sag. Coutil is a strong, tightly woven cotton that will hold its shape yet is amazingly light weight. Inexpensive corsets also have plastic boning and flexible busks that eventually bend out of shape or poke through.

Measurements listed are for the flat actual garment itself in a fully closed position- compare to your body's for proper fit allowing for ease:
