A new twist on an old light sconce ~ a bird feeder! Left in its natural state, paint and all, the wiring was removed from the scone and mounted on a rustic board and you can see where the sunflower seed will sit in the bowl. It can be hung directly on a fence post or garden wall to hold seed for your birds.

I might add that "The Raven" is one of my all time favorite Edgar Allen Poe poems which was actually originally published in this month of January, 1845.

This feeder is recycled from a vintage iron wall sconce light fixture. I removed all the wiring and cleaned it up and mounted it on an old piece of fence board that had been previously painted. I sanded it lightly to avoid splinters. An old hinge is attached to the back side so you can hang it up. The little bowl is just the right size for your birds to perch on and dine.

Dimensions: Board 5-1/2"Wx8-1/2"H; Fixture 4-1/2"Wx8"H, Bowl 4-1/2"W; Old metal hinge on back 1" x 3-5/8".
