Super Easy Chunky Bonnet and Lion Hat Knitting Pattern PDF #121
PLEASE NOTE: This is a set of instructions, not the physical object.
Once you have paid, you will receive an email with instructions for downloading your pattern pdf, along with a tutorial for adding the lion's mane and 2 other files:
1) yarn and needle terminology and equivalents
2) newborn photography and digital editing tips
These hats make great shower gifts, and wonderful photo props.
Newborn through Toddler sizes are given.
You may use either bulky yarn or 2 strands of worsted medium yarn.
Easy enough for beginners! You knit this back and forth.
Instructions for making both knitted and crocheted ears are given, and also for attaching fringe for a mane. The ears are hard to see on this, my first lion hat. I discovered it would be better to sew on the ears first, closer to the brim, and then make the fringe around them. But this hat was donated for a charity auction, so it's too late to fix it. That's my grandson roaring at you, and his baby sister in the pink fuzzy hat!
Permission is granted to sell the hats you knit, of course.
Email coaching and support included! I can usually answer your questions in just a few hours.

About downloading onto a tablet or phone:
You must log in to your Etsy account through the web browser and look in the Purchases area up at the top right of the page to find the invoice and the link to click, rather than trying to download from within the Etsy app, or from a link in your confirmation email. That just doesn't seem to work.
