Book tote

Moving books from here to there can be a real challenge. Books are well engineered for reading, but transportation of more than one book at a time just doesn't fit well within their design parameters. See, they're slick on the outside covers, and they slide around so freely that it's easy to drop them. And when you drop a $200 textbook into a puddle, it can ruin your whole day.

To address this problem, we in the Yellow Bug Boutique labs worked tirelessly to develop a spray-on substance that would keep books from sliding around, therefore making them easier to carry. Unfortunately, after 2 years, 3 research grants, and one particularly nasty chemical reaction, we said the hell with it and looked for another idea.

We finally settled on the decidedly low-tech but undeniably effective bag concept. Sliding is a non-issue, and the bag offers protection against the puddle threat. However, our previous research grants were predicated on the use of a chemical compound - no compound, no funding. Major bummer.

Then we had a fantastic (and reputation-saving) idea - if we can't use the chemicals themselves, we can at least use the symbols for them - technically meeting the requirement to use chemicals in the final product. It turns out that boron, potassium, oxygen and sulphur were the chief ingredients in our failed adhesive, so we slapped their elemental symbols on the side of the bag and declared victory.

On a more serious note, this is a rockin' good bag even without the cool logo. Lots of pockets, sturdy handles, and a pleated bottom so it doesn't fall over when you set it down. You'll be impressed.
