RESERVED for Michael...This gorgeous Coins Pattern, Rosenthal Continental China, set is from the 50's and was designed by Raymond Loewy who was perhaps the original industrial design renaissance man. He designed everything from locomotives to cigarette boxes and his designs are classics and as iconic as anything from the time period.

This set of his "coins" pattern was produced by Rosenthal Continental China was made some time in the 50's, the company that producing some of the most forward thinking and high-end and fine china in the world at the time.

The set includes 4 dinner plates, 4 salad plates, and 4 dessert plates. Nearly all the plates show varying (minor) degrees of surface wear and wear to the grey/silver and 24K gold "coins" pattern.

Beyond that minor bit of wear, condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, heavy utensil wear, stains, fleabites or the like to report! A great start to a beautiful set, or wonderful addition to the set you already have!
