This beautiful book was written by Richard Brewer, Gail A. McPeek and Raymond J. Adams, Jr. and published by the Michigan State University Press in 1991. It is filled with maps, charts and absolutely wonderful drawings of birds. There are two full page color paintings in this book as well. There are 594 pages including an extensive bibliography, appendix, list of contributors and an index. This book includes everything you might possibly want to know about any bird that calls Michigan home. The book measures eight and a half by eleven inches and is over an inch thick. The book is in very good vintage condition. The dust jacket has a few tears.
