Here are a pair of very nicely polished fossil ammonites from Madagascar. They date back to the Pennsylvania epoch, 300 million years ago. Paleontologist believe this creature was the progenitor to our modern day Chamber Nautilus. A6

This pair of butter toffee colored earth tone fossils would be excellent as a pair of earrings or made into pendants or even center pieces for bracelets. They are 32mm x 26mm and about 8mm thick. Together they weight 16.4 grams. The backs show a wonderful opalescence, but need a little more cleaning up.

Metaphysical Properties:
Aids in starting projects with the desired result visible in ones head or minds eye throughout the process. A protective stone, clears and smooths out the pathways of life and living it. Hones the survival instincts and aids in "making it through" intact. Excellent for crisis. Eases Child birth and postpartum depression.

Because these properties spring mainly from "lore" and "faith" I can not guarantee the level of effectiveness. They may be strong or they may be very subtle. Either way I think they are lovely and pray they will bring you optimism, happiness and comfort.
