This reclaimed maple spoon was carved by David Wolfgram using only recycled hardwoods and local discarded trees. By utilizing these materials we reduce our impact on our Earth. To ensure the longevity of your spoon apply a small amount of vegetable or canola oil (petroleum free!) OR this stuff after hand washing.

Hand Wash Only!

Reclaimed mountain maple from the lift line at deer valley ski resort
total length 7 1/2"
spoon dish 2 " long X 1 1/8" wide

The important thing about wooden spoons is to: never let them soak in water. Always hand wash, then dry. When the spoon looks dull, oil it or rub in some natural bees wax and, or lemon/sweet orange oil. There is really something magical about wooden spoons. Food seams to taste better. I think it has something to do with not putting metal in your mouth. Try and experiment, eat some nice ice cream, one bite off a steel spoon then one bite off a wooden spoon. Let me know what you think.
Blessing, David
