This mosaic hummingbird and red flower was created on a glass block used in home construction, not a craft block. All pieces of glass were hand cut, applied with a specialized glass to glass glue that dries clear.

The grout color is black, which shows off the rich red and iridized blue glass. A sealer was applied to keep the grout clean. The highest quality stained glass was, it is the same glass I use in stained glass panels. The hummingbird is blue iridized and red glass. The flower is multi color red with green leaves. The background is a purple/lilac glass that has a slight texture. Rubber feet have been applied to the bottom of the block to protect your surface.

A hole was drilled in the back of the block and 35 miniature white lights were inserted. The hole is large enough to remove the lights to either add more/less or replace. The ribbon of reddish purple is attached by extra strong double sided tape, it can easily be removed if you do not want a ribbon or to change the ribbon for your décor.

Would look great in a sun room or guest room. Makes a great gift for your favorite gardener or bird lover.

Size is 7.5 x 7.5 x 3.

Mosaic blocks ship separately in their own box for safety reason. Shipping weight is 7 pounds
