I am generally happy to make custom orders, be they sizes or fabrics. Depending on the situation, I may request a minimum purchase - in the past this has been 3 pairs of underwear in a custom fabric. Many size adjustments take me about five minutes to make, so I am happy to offer that free of charge. Larger adjustments may incur a fee based on my hourly rate.
My sizes are based on industry-standard measurements, and should follow retail sizing fairly closely. That said, my larger sizes may tend to run a bit on the larger side. I do not currently have a size chart available, but I can provide specific sizing information upon request.
If I request measurements from you, the waist measurement should be taken where you want the waistband to fall, the leg at the top of the thigh (where it makes sense given the style of the item you are ordering) and the rise is taken from back to front waist, through the legs. The measuring tape should be close to the body, but not tight, and don't add any ease to your measurement.
All my items come with the FTC-required care tags, but generally speaking, care is as follows:
Machine wash warm
Tumble dry low
Low iron if needed
100% cotton slips should be washed in cold water, and may be ironed on high heat, except on any embroidery, which may be stitched in polyester thread.
In order to be in compliance with the US Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Product Safety Commission, all my items are made with conforming tags attached. These cannot be omitted. However, I appreciate that some children find these irritating, and I am happy to discuss attaching them in alternate locations. Also, I stitch the tags on after the rest of the garment is completed, so the stitching used for the tag has no other function than to hold on said tag. Because of this, it is possible you to remove the tag completely, though left alone, it will stay put for the lifetime of the garment.
Tags are heat printed, not screen printed.
I do accept returns and exchanges, despite the nature of my items. I want to assure you that items returned are not restocked, unless they clearly have not been used - as in "return to sender" type returns.
