This farmhouse style feeder has a 16 ounce crimped copper roof made with extra material from a church roof. The base, lap siding, and trim pieces are all cedar, hit with 2 coats of Thompson's spray -on water seal. 16 plexi-glass windows help you keep an eye on the seed level while a slide inside keeps the seed flowing onto the front porch. Dimensions, 17.5"Lx11"Wx16"H. Will send ready to be mounted on 1" i.d. threaded pipe, or with 4x4 post receiver, let me know which works best for you.

Ten years ago, I put a feeder this style out in my backyard and it's still holding up. When the tree next to it got big enough for the squirrels to jump onto the feeder, they got a little rough on it when it ran empty, so squirrel proofing is recommended. After 10 years of Minnesota weather, squirrels, and hail damage, the roof has a nice patina and the cedar has weathered and greyed and now looks as good as an old farmhouse.
