This is a primitive watercolor fraktur. It is an original design that was inspired by the antique paintings from the 1700's - early 1800's. Peacocks were a symbol of heaven. The image under glass is 8 inches by 5 3/4 inches. The frame measures 9 3/4 inches by 7 1/2 inches. The paper has been faux aged. The vintage frame is painted in a folk design. This will blend in quite well in an early american, colonial decor.
