Condition is overall is good for it's age with normal wear. It has gilt edges and is dark green.
On the inside front it states where she is from [Indiana and her birth date May 5 1913]. It also list her family members and also says that "she has had oodles of good times". She is a very upbeat and happy 18 yrs. old. She talks of her plans to go to Calf. and her boyfriend. She also turns down his marriage proposal, but I didn't finish reading to see if they ever marry. There is a lock or hair in tissue that was stuck between the pages. There are some backwards writing on some paper as seen in photo. I guess she was just fooling around with writing backwards.
She always looked at the good side when things were bad. I loved her positive attitude and that made me adjust mine a bit.
Well it is a neat diary and I didn't even read half of it.
Not all entries are filled out. I glanced through it and saw 32, 34 and a few 1935 entries. Mostly 32 and 1933.
