Hand knapped dark gray agate blade 3 1/2" then expoy and lashed to a rustic deer stag handle with black leather. Hand made suede leather neck or belt sheath. The deer crown handle has a very unusual "finger" which serves as a nice and natural rear guard. Overall length is 7 1/2". I will hand sign knife and/or sheath upon request. Thanks for looking and please check out my other knives.

Frequently asked questions about CameronCustomCutlery

Never store knife for long periods in leather sheath! Leather holds moisture and promotes rust in all steel even stainless.

Damascus steel can oxidize or rust to some degree with normal use; additional care needs to be taken with a Damascus steel knife. There are several methods of controlling the oxidation. Periodically apply a light coat of good oil (gun or knife) to the blade. For pocket carry apply a good coat of Carnuba Wax, which is a combination of a very mild abrasive polish and wax. Carnuba Wax can be applied over the entire knife then buffed with a soft cotton cloth.

Should oxidation or rust occur that is not easily removed with wax and buffing, then use 0000 steel wool to clean and polish then coat with oil or wax.
