This cute cloth pad set includes one pantyliner, one regular pad, and one overnight pad. All the turned-and-topstitched pads have an outer layer in a cute Japanese paper lanterns/cherry blossoms print on soft flannel and a waterproof polyurethane laminate (PUL) layer. The absorbent layers consist of multiple layers of thin but thirsty flannel, the pantyliner having 2 inner flannel layers, the regular pad having 3, and the overnight pad having 4 inner layers.

Why, I'm glad you asked!

Cloth pads are better for the environment AND you. Cloth pads create less waste, feel better against your skin, are prettier, and may even help relieve cramping during your period--I know they've done wonders for me, and have heard similar accounts from others.

When to use cloth pads?

Well aside from the obvious visit from Aunt Flow, cloth pads are also wonderful to use during yeast infections, pregnancy, for incontinence, and whenever you may experience discharge, i.e. ovulation. They help wick moisture away from your body in general, so some people find them pleasing to wear during hot summer days, too!

If you haven't given cloth pads a try, I recommend that you give them a shot! I bet you'll be glad you did. :)

Cloth pads are fairly easy to care for. I like to rinse mine in cold water after use, soak them in a bucket of water with a little oxygen bleach until I'm ready to wash them, and then wash them in cold water with some unscented, additive-free detergent (my favorite is Nellie's Washing Soda), then machine dry. The cold water, oxygen bleach, and washing soda have been phenomenal at getting all blood stains out!
