A rare relic from the Vera's hippie days of the 1960's, around the time when she moved her art studio near Woodstock, NY and got influence by all those flower-children!

Vera Neumann is one of the 20th century's most important painters and designers. Since her departure from this world, her work grows more rare and precious with each day. By the way, she would have turned 100 last year!

This original Vera painting offers hot pink, Asian-Pop, Anime-style poppies over bright white. A super-wide pointed collar gives a classic retro look.

While the fabric was screened by hand, most likely in Japan, the shirt jacket was assembled by the Ladies Garment Worker's Union. American Unions show quality and craftsmanship that you just can't find today. That's why this garment is still gorgeous, even after 40+ years!

The shirt label reads "100% polyester, Machine Wash, Tumble Dry, Size 12" but the sizing is more like a 10 in today's measurements. The original pink buttons grace the front.

The flat measurements are as follows:
Shoulders - 15 1/2"
Bust - 19 1/2"
Waist - 18 1/2"
Sleeve length - 22"
Shirt length - 28"

In fabulous vintage condition with no visible flaws whatsoever! Wow!
