A pair of Mid-Century sterling silver and 10K yellow gold cufflinks from Mexican Silversmith Plafina. These Cufflinks feature an Aztec sun god calendar design on the front.
Each cufflink is nearly 1" across X 1" down. The cufflinks are in excellent condition with virtually no wear. They are stamped on the back "PLAFINA MEXICO STERLING 10K" There is also an Eagle stamp. I think it's an Eagle 10 but it's hard to read. The cufflinks weighs about 3/4 ounce.
Mexican government assay mark, was used from approximately 1946 to 1979.
