This is a size 6 thrashed silver stiletto, upcycled of course into a new life. I removed the top of the shoe, sanded it, drilled holes for drainage, and then planted it with a faintly pink graptoveria succulent called "Fred Ives"

*this shoe shows scars from hours and hours of dancing- the pain is worn off behind the heel, and the body of the shoe is full of lines and dimply scratches.

The succulent plant will need very bright light and just a little water from time to time. In return, it'll repay you with a stark reminder of how hard it is to...well, to be a woman.

sustainability: I use only natural and organic fertilizers and soil. most of my plants are from a local Berkeley grower who is 100% certified organic

Remember, Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, but backwards and in high heels. ~Faith Whittlesey
