It's not something I like to admit on a daily basis but here it is.
This is a very geeky book for more than one reason - I'll try to be brief.
1. There are some cool color illustrations in the middle.
2. Awesome line drawings of compressing the femoral artery, making arm slings, figure eight turns bandaging and lots more.
3. Tons of utterly useful info on emergency treatment of everything from gunshot wounds, tarantula bites, fractures of knee cap and so much more.

and the best part - for me - the introductory letter from the Federal Civil Defense Administration:
I will give you just a short quote - keep in mind the year-

"In the event of nuclear attack on this country, survival may well depend on what everyone does for himself...."
