This is a complete Ingrid of Chicago "party ball" set of plates, bowls, and cups. Included in this set are 6 dinner plates, 6 medium plates/shallow bowls, 6 small plates/shallow bowls, 6 cups, one serving platter, two serving bowls, and one white handle. (The handle can be attached in an upright position, creating a basket-style carrying handle for one of the bowls.)

Brilliantly, all of the items easily fit inside the two bowls to create the space age ball, the handle latches securely, and it is therefore totally portable. When all together, the ball stands about 9 1/2" high. This is likely from the early 1970s, inspired by an original 1960s design by Guzzini of Italy.

Made of bright, heavy, mod plastic in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and white, this set is in very good condition. There is some slight scratching on the exterior of the ball, on the red serving platter, and on the larger plates. The other pieces appear to be unused outside of some extremely light scratching. There are no cracks or dents.

Obviously, a fantastic useful item and conversation piece for your summer camping, fireworks, RV-ing, picnics, etc.
