"Home Is Where the Heart Is" Quilt -- Keep someone you love warm this winter!

"Home Is Where the Heart Is" is a bright and cheerful quilt, designed in red and white for delight as well as warmth. The eight red houses are a bit wonky and perhaps slightly lopsided, but each contains a full measure of love. And not a single 'underwater' homeowner among them....

"Home Is Where the Heart Is" was machine pieced and machine quilted in a straight-line stitch in rows at irregular intervals down the length of the quilt, increasing the perky factor! The backing is flannel in several red-and-white combos, adding warmth and style to the quilt.

Size: 42" x 56"
Fabrics: cottons (found fabrics, all)
Batting: cotton
Backing: flannel
Binding: handsewn doublefold (for extra durability)

"Home Is Where the Heart Is Quilt" is a sturdy quilt, meant to be used and loved. It is machine washable in cold or warm water, and will stay nice and fluffy when tumbled dry, low. Line drying is another option -- good for the planet and for the quilt.

This one-of-a-kind quilt is new and unused, and it was made in a a solar-powered and smoke-free home. Like all my quilts, "Home Is Where the Heart Is Quilt" incorporates -- new! -- found fabrics.
