It always seems to happen, that when you are furthest from the barn, bad weather moves in. Sometimes you end up caught in the rain, but sometimes you manage to race the storm back and make it to the warm, dry barn before the rain comes.

This painting conveys that moment when you realize you need to race mother nature.

The model for this painting is a Stallion named Royaal Z and his owner of 20 years.

The painting is approximately 12" x 16" and is an original Oil Painting on Yupo Paper. Yupo Paper is a plastic paper which conveys an extra luminosity to the paintings which are done on it. I am one of only a very few artists working with Yupo and Oils at this time.

Marked down for sale.

The painting comes matted and in a protective cello sleeve.
