I apprenticed for 14 years, with a man who was a master craftsman. The free form wire designs are inspired by what I learned from him.
I have to say that free form wire bending is one of my favorite things to do. I love how the metal moves, and to feel where it is from.

These Bronze Charm Holders are simple and elegant enough to wear alone, or to add a few of your favorite charms...they will easily hold up to 10 charms. You simply hook the charm onto the centre of the spiral, and swirl the charm into place.
The first one I made was in Sterling, for myself, about 20 years ago. I made it as a place to put my rings while I was working making jewelry and stained glass work. But then the idea caught on, and a few other artisans I worked with wanted one...and I have been making them ever since.
This year I have decided to go back into Bronze work, and here they are!

I do make multiples of these, but each one is hand bent, and no two are alike. I do not use jigs.
I make them with .051 Bronze dead soft wire, which I hand stretch, cut, free form bend, and then hammer. You can see the hammer marks on all of my free form jewelry, I angle the hammer on purpose to let them come out. When the light plays over them, they will shimmer and reflect the colours around you.

The Bronze really picks up the colours, and the lighting brings out the many colours in the bronze itself. In regular daylight and sunlight, this bronze has a lovely soft rose gold tone. This charm holder would not look out of place at all with your 14K charms on it.
When indoors, and in low lighting, the copper tones come out more, showing a nice rosy glow.
Nice Bronze is like the Alexandrite of metals...and I am glad that it is a lesser known metal.

I suggest a medium weight chain if you will be adding many charms. (not included, but you could slip this on a gold chain easily)
Although we can add in a cotton cord that is also strong enough, at no charge. Just let us know you would like one.
We will eventually be adding to our shop, leather cords with handcrafted clasps in bronze. If you would like one before we list them, please let us know.
