7 Hippos Marching
A digital print on EPSON paper printed with EPSON ink
$60

7 Hippos Marching is a digital reproduction of an original watercolor. The original 7 Hippos are painted on 300 pound Arches paper, and their reproductions are printed on archival paper with archival inks.

Each print is 24 inches wide by 3 inches high, and has an archival mat.

Meet the Hippos. They are cousins, and they are part of a family of small hippos that thrives in museums and in charming interior spaces. They are most often found on shelves, and they particularly like the ones with mirrored backing and lights. From left to right, they are Big Yellow Hippo, Lotsa Dots Hippo, Hippo Green, Tiny Stained Glass Hippo, Half Moon Hippo, Brick Hippo, and Hippo Star.

Their march is sponsored by the Small Friends Research Institute and they are featured in The Small Friends' Chronicles (http://www.blurb.com/b/3479674-the-small-friends-chronicles). The Institute was established to identify heretofore unknown species and to tell their stories. They sometimes agree to march in weddings and birthday celebrations, but they are very fussy about their dressing rooms.
