This knife is hand forged from 1084 high carbon steel. It has been carefully heat treated to give it a hard long lasting cutting edge, and a resilient spine. The blade has been hand sanded smooth, then lightly antiqued, giving it a slightly grayish appearance. This helps to prevent rust. The handle is Beech wood attached with copper pins and epoxy. The sheath is hand stitched vegetable tanned leather

Blade length: 3 3/4"
Handle length: 4 1/4
Spine thickness at handle: 1/8"

This would make an excellent everyday carry type knife. Ideal for hunting, camping, camp food prep, and even carving. The blade tapers quite a bit from the spine to the cutting edge allowing whatever is being cut to pass up the blade with little resistance.

Hand Forged Knife: 1084/ Beech
