Seaside Holiday - Original Ammonite Collage Painting

A stylised Ammonite in dreamy summery colours of sun, sea, and sand - and a hint of pistachio and vanilla ice cream!

This one-off artwork was created from torn-up fragments of paintings and drawings I have done previously, using watercolour, acrylic, ceramic paint, oil pastel and ink, enhanced with metallic, glitter, and a sprinkling of little gems.

The background and sides of the box canvas are painted black with a heavily-textured acrylic paint, and the design is sealed with a water-based transparent glue.

This canvas is on a sturdy wooden frame and comes with a certificate of authenticity and some guidelines on how you can care for it to keep it looking beautiful for many years. The back is finished with D-rings and a cord, and protective felt bumpers at the base so it’s ready to hang on the wall; alternatively you could display it on a shelf to complement a collection of other seaside-inspired items.

Please note that wherever possible, I use recycled packaging to send out my artwork. This may not look as pretty as custom or brand-new packaging but it keeps costs down and of course is less wasteful and kinder to the environment!
