The turquoise and Coral are beads sourced from Nigeria.

I bought the Coral from one of the royal beaders in Oje Market in Oyo State, Nigeria. I was commissioned to make 250 bracelets for a school charity in the US, the bracelets were gifts to the donors who helped raise money to buy glasses for a community in Nigeria.

The Turquoise was bought from a bead merchant in another market in Nigeria called Aleshinloye.

The combination of the two primary colours is vivid and exciting.

The earring is amde of a round tubular Turquoise stone topped with a cluster of free formed turquoise chips and a smattering of corals all on steel head pins and steel studs.

Each Earring is approximately 3 inches in length.

The name of the bracelet is Etiade literally translated to mean ‘Ears of the Crown’ or 'Royal Ears'.
