About the jewelry:
Your jewelry is handcrafted using the lampworking technique and borosilicate glass.
What does that mean?
I work with a very hard and durable glass that requires extreme heat to form. Because of its hardness and resistance to external factors, borosilicate glass is ideal for everyday use. Feel free to wear your glass jewelry to the office, a walk in the park, or even on the red carpet.
Jewelry components (chains, hooks, connectors) are made of stainless steel (surgical steel 316L). This is a durable, safe material that retains its luster for a long time and is well suited for people who are sensitive to metals such as silver or nickel.

How to Care for Glass Jewelry
- Jewelry likes a place of its own. Store it in your favorite jewelry box or in a closed container that limits exposure to air and light.
- Avoid wearing multiple pieces of jewelry that may knock or rub against each other, as this can scratch polished surfaces.
- Keep jewelry out of the reach of small children. Small pieces can easily be swallowed, and glass is sensitive to sudden shocks or drops.
- Store your jewelry away from moisture and do not expose gold-plated parts to detergents or alcohol.
- Apply perfume and hand cream before putting on your jewelry to avoid exposing it to residue.

Gold plating can naturally wear off over time. If needed, you can contact me to renew the gold plating on your jewelry. This way you can enjoy your Joanna Muzyka Studio jewelry for even longer.
