Need a reminder of hot summer days spent at the beach? This handmade 12-inch wreath was made from beach stones and shells found along the beaches of southern Maine. There are some perfectly rounded granite stones, smooth volcanic rock and marble, all chosen for their beauty and interest. A few colorful pieces of seaglass from Peaks Island, Maine are also included. A lobster claw found on the rocks at Wells Beach, razor clams, a crab shell, snail shells and sand dollars all add contrast and color to this wreath. The inside is lined with blue mussel shells. It can be hung by a hook on the back, or by the natural open weave jute fiber ribbon.

Because of the type of glue used on this wreath, I'd recommend hanging it inside, or if using outside, please make sure to hang where it won't get wet.

Makes a nice gift for anyone who loves the beach.

A wreath similar to this one can also be made-to-order. I would just need a week or so to make.
