Absolutely beautiful ivory wedding gown from 1890. Top layer is a delicate silk with lovely lace on sleeves and bodice. Bottom half has two tiers of silk - the top tier has hidden weights in the hem to keep it in place. Inner lining is satin. Silk fringe decorates shoulders on down to waist, as well as at the bottom of each tier. Boning in high lace collar. Front waist has a magnolia flower made of silk and gold mesh - some of the gold has come off onto dress. In back is a similar flower made of silk. Hook and eye closure in back.

Very wearable gown. There are a few flaws: Some areas of the silk look a little stressed. Light brown stain in back - partially hidden by tier. Very small light brown stain in middle back on train. Fringe is missing from the middle train in back. Very faint light tan stain in front around knee on right side. Four tiny holes on front bottom at ankle length. On inner lining there is a 2" rip near the back neck - this is impossible to see from the outside. There are also a couple tiny holes in the inner lining on the back, again completely hidden from outside.

These flaws do not detract from this exquisite gown. Would be lovely on a Spring bride! Please email for additional and more detailed photos.
