This wonderful pennant flag banner is made using vintage repurposed Madras plaid camp shirts in cheery shades of green, blue, orange, pink, yellow and purple. One fabric is seersucker and one a bit heavier cotton. The banner is 7’ 8” long with 8” of tie at each end. There are 12 flags that measure 5” wide x 6 ½” long. They are fully finished and reversible and sewn on a school bus yellow orange bias tape with white print (turns out the print is actually a Christmas motif with partridge, deer, tree, wreath, snowflake, etc., but I did not notice this until I was sewing the pennants in, it is not noticeable at all really and it is so perfect a color match for the flags I used it anyway!).

Madras has always been synonymous with fun for me, both its carefree color and feel and unisex appeal. This bunting has so many possible uses!

This is a perfect reusable eco-friendly way to celebrate without the waste or decorate a child's room with bright color whether it is a boy or girl (just make sure it is far out of reach of little hands so no one gets hurt)! It would also make an adorable photography prop for your child’s next photo shoot.

Non-smoking home, but I do have a wood stove and a sweet dog.
