A 6” x 9” print of the ORIGINAL PAINTING ‘Sensen’ by Holly Sierra; 24”x 30” Painted in Acrylics on canvas, 2009

Sensen means ‘Lotus Blossom’ in Egyptian. I have always LOVED ancient Egyptian art!!!. Long ago on the weekends of my youth, my father would take me to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. There, we two would pour over the Egyptian section in all it’s grandeur. I so admired their serene stylized figures and relief carvings in stone. So, here is Sensen, my exotic dark eyed goddess playing her flutes along the side of the river Nile. On her head is perfumed wax cone which provides a lovely fragrance as it melts.

Printed on archival quality canvas, the image measures 7” x 9” and is stretched and ready for hanging. The sides are painted so no need to frame (although framing is certainly an option) Print is labeled, signed and dated on the back by the artist.
