1950's wedding dress, ballerina length with yards of satin, lace and tulle, long pointed lacy seeves, 35 satin covered buttons, a cinderella dipped waistline and modest Peter Pan collar. The bodice and sleeves and collar are all covered in lace with panels of lace dropping down over the flowing tulle skirt. There is a satin skirt beneath the tulle. The dress could be altered to have a low off the shoulder neckline, melding vintage with modern.as more bosom, chest and neck showing are favored by today's brides. The dress has a dropped hemline in back, 5" longer than in front. It is made for a small bride with measurements as follows.
Bust - 32-34"
Waist - 24-25"
Sleeves - 25 " and fastened with a 4 satin covered buttons
Length - 40" from waist to hem in front and 45" waist to hem in the back.
35 satin covered buttons (no missing buttons)
The dress has no rips or tears. It does have soil around the hemline and probably should be cleaned to bring it back to sparkling white.
Just the material and buttons on this dress are worth the price as vintage tulle is hard to find and such lovely lace is rare.
