This guinomi, or sake cup, was fired in a wood kiln to cone 11 or 2380 degree. It has an orange shino liner glaze with some dark spots from the ash and a lighter orange color where ash didn't hit. The exterior is reddish-brown and gray, and it was fired on three pieces of wadding. North Carolina local clay was used to make this.
