Rare and retro looking Bakelite box camera, produced by Spartus Camera Corp of Chicago Ill, in the 1950's. A very simple construction, with a single aperture mode and shutter speed. Eye level range finder frame mounted on the side of the body allows for horizontal pictures! Chocolate brown Bakelite body with a striking silver and red face.

**Marked down from $25!**

Body shows some definite wear - over all fine scratches and wear marks from use, as well as a large are of tape residue on one side, that feels pretty permanent, and some body damage - several chips are taken out of the back door - see pics. This definitely compromises the light tightness of the camera. For that reason, I am selling the camera as is. However, the shutter works as does film advance. The face is still really cute and clean, and would look adorable on a shelf, nestled among your other artifacts!

Takes 120 film, widely available.
