This mountain mahogany fork was carved by David Wolfgram using only recycled hardwoods and local discarded trees. By utilizing these materials we reduce our impact on our Earth. To ensure the longevity of your spoon apply a small amount of vegetable or canola oil (petroleum free!) after washing.
hand wash only.

be mind full when using a wooden fork, that it is not as strong as steel. prying can brake the fork tines.

Reclaimed purple heart
total length 8 5/8"
fork dish 2" long X 7/8" wide

the important thing about wooden forks is to: never let them soak in water. always hand wash, then dry. when the spoon looks dull, oil it or rub in some natural bees wax and, or lemon/sweet orange oil. there is really something magical about wooden forks. food seams to taste better. i think it has something to do with not putting metal in your mouth. try and experiment: eat one bit off a steel fork then one bit off a wooden fork.
blessing, david

5 hand rubbed coats of beeswax sweet orange oil finish.(again petroleum free!!! mineral oil is not.
