A decorative doll which will look quirky and unique on any shelf .I sometimes add bits of ribbon around my dolls and hang them from the wall. This little darling would look lovely up on the wall or hanging on a mirror or coat hanger (as pictured)

This little showgal has been crafted by hand, apart from her legs which are machine sewn.

Many things inspire me, old cartoons, childrens books, screen sirens, theatre, and old movies. I was inspired by some old pictures I found of circus performers in the 1930's - 1950's and fashion shoots from the likes of Vogue and Elle magazine for this particular collection. Some of the pictures that inspired me can be found on my blog.

I also have a set of illustrations (soon to be on sale as a set of postcards) on my blog to accompany the circus dolls.

I never want my work to look factory made. Thats not what they're about. I love little bits of imperfection, a tiny stain on a piece of vintage fabric or a frayed edge. To read more about me and see more of my work please have a look at my work at www.curiouspip.blogspot.com

Materials: Fabric, felt, cotton, polyfilI, pom poms, beads, ribbon, vintage yellow nylon sheer scarf.

I have handpainted her face using fabric pen and a layer of varnish to fix it. Her skin tone is dyed in tea to give her a vintage feel.

There is a tiny black pen mark on the back of her right arm (can't see it when shes facing front) and a tiny uneven patch on her face (again u can't see it and its part of her charm)

Height: approx 14 inches (35.5cm)

Packaging: Will package prettily using tissue paper and ribbon. Will also add a tag.

This is not a toy
