This handmade mulberry bowl was a joy to turn. It is made from a tree felled for natural reasons on a friend's property in York, PA.

The bowl's yellow color should soften over time to a light brown. There is cream colored sapwood present, as well as some reddish discoloration from the drying process.

Food safe finished in mineral oil and finally sealed and buffed with natural waxes. Sanded smooth and perfect for chips, fruit, candy, or any other items you could think of.

The bark remains along the rim creating a "live edge." A small crack exists on each side that was sealed with CA glue and dust. This bowl is extremely lightweight and a joy to look at. Bordering the cream colored sapwood is a small green layer right before the bark.

Measures 3" at tallest and 7-1/4" in diameter. About 1/8" walls. Thanks for looking!
