The faceted, pink topas ring is a handmade, high-quality one-of-a-kind jewelry piece that I crafted solid 9 K gold and a huge pink topaz in sterling silver setting. A cool and contemporary statement ring in an organic look.


My Vision and Fabrication of this Jewelry Piece

This gold ring shows off the beauty of this sparkling, pink topaz. I tube set the amazing gem in brushed sterling silver bezel and soldered it to a solid 9 K gold ring shank. I forged the ring band to achieve a cool and extravagant look.

My Designing Style: Wabi-Sabi meets Globetrotter

The decades I spent in the US and Japan shaped my world view as well as the design language of my jewelry pieces. I hereby honed my eye for wabi-sabi design - simplicity, elegance, and "just enough". The inspiration for my creations is nature's pure beauty - from the majestic Fujiyama over the foggy Blue Ridge Mountains to the fresh breeze of the German North Sea - all combined in inner tranquillity.
