Up for your consideration is a wonderfully preserved Parka from Sierra Designs of Berkeley, California. They've been in business since 1965 and this is their 1968 classic 60/40 Parka, this one being made in 1988. The reproductions retail for $400 on their website. These are very hip on the style and streetstyle blogs over the past year, but I only sell the timeless and classic. Either way it's a winner.

Tan on the inside like all the great outdoor parkas were, the shell's a very nice muted green in between Kelly & Forest. The coloring reminds me of Oregon. The colorway is original and dates back to '68.

Taken from Sierra's website:
"The densely woven 60/40 material used throughout the line is the original blend of fabric; made up of 60% cotton and 40% nylon and protected with a water repellant treatment."

The hood draws in and each side has honey leather pull tap cord locks.

It's a classic outdoor aesthetic that I would like to see a woman wear- Photo #5 is the tan version of the Sierra 60/40.

It's in perfect condition and the entire garment is cut fantastically. I love this jacket but it's too short in the arms for a guy like me. It's tagged as a small but if your arms are shorter than mine, this is a very flattering medium depending on body type. It's an athletic fit to be sure.

The model is Jerome and he is 5'8 1/2, 160 pounds.

The measurements are as follows:

Armpit to armpit (Chest) - 21 1/4 inches across
From the bottom seam of the neckline to the bottom hem of the jacket (waist) 31 1/2 inches
From the base of the neck to the hem of the cuff (arm length) 29 inches

The condition is *flawless*, there is zero wear of any kind to this jacket and the main zipper has zero paint loss. It was either never worn or worn once or twice. Silly.

As always- you pay exactly what I pay to get it to your door, and if it ever happens to go over, I eat the cost.

I'll ship this anywhere in the world and I will refund any shipping overages. Overseas buyers, Please read :

I've only recently raised my shipping quotes and it's due solely to shipping packages overseas and paying 200% or 300% more at time of shipping. Sometimes it's effectively nullified any profit. You have my word I will refund you any overages- you pay what I pay to get it to your door.

I love my overseas patrons, and love to find things for people across the globe. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me- I love to answer questions and always have time for you.

Thanks for looking and I hope you and your families are having a productive and fun spring 2012! - Skylar, The Thread Locker
