This is a Crystal Cut Covered Butter Dish made by the Imperial Glass Co. in the years between 1953-1970 according to their catalogue. It has a beautiful shine to it and a flower motif on the dome. It is meant for butter but it does have a rim on the plate in which you could put candy or nuts. Or use it on your dining table for a condiment and to add a sparkle. It has its own glow without having a color.

The measurements are: 7,25 inches tall the plate is 7 inches across and the rimmed area is 4.5 inches in diameter and about 1.5 inches deep. The glass itself is about .25 inches thick
