I drew up this thistle design on plain white weaver's cloth and then framed in a 4 inch (10.2 cm) embroidery hoop that I stained.

I created this thistle in the punchneedle embroidery technique, which is akin to an ancient rug hooking on a smaller scale. I used my adjustable needle to change the lengths of the loops in the purple part of this thistle, making it very realistic and life like.

The finest hand-dyed embroidery floss is used for this artwork.

Hang in your living room, bedroom or anywhere that could use a little nature-y goodness.

No pattern was used for this artwork, so each will be truly one of a kind.

A 4 inch (10.2 cm) circle of eco-felt is attached to the back (made from 100% post consumer plastic bottles)

*Made to order, please allow 7 days until ready-to-ship!*

Some elements may vary slightly depending upon availability of products needed to create the art work. Each one is hand drawn (no pattern) so please allow for subtle differences. I endeavor to stick as closely to original as possible but sometimes thread shades will vary slightly - as most are hand dyed.

This item arrives in pretty eco-friendly packaging all set for gift giving. Give from the heart!

The Thistle comes with a small brass nail for hanging.
