This 1940s vintage, tri-fold valentine features two children.

Message Reads: Sure it' Scarce But I'll have mine when you say you'll be MY VALENTINE.

This message directly relates to sugar rationing during World War II. The card measures about 3 1/2" x 4" closed and 5" x 4" unfolded. The back is marked "A-Ameri-Card, Made in USA 114". The paper was in a scrapbook (glue residual) and is signed in fountain pen ink.

The card is in good condition, except a bend in the little girl's skirt. This is were you tend to open the card. There is slight paint loss on the little boy's hat. The first fold shows some wear.
