Easy to grow . Sow seed directly outdoors in early spring through early summer and cover with fine soil. Keep moist and allow a week or 2 for germination. For a continuous crop, sow repeatedly through early summer.

Dill is reputed to be one of the oldest known culinary herbs around. For the most intense flavor in cooking use dill fresh. Freshly picked dill from your garden can be dried and stored and is the second best way to use it. You'll never use store-bought again! Use the leaves on fish, in salads, in egg dishes, on vegetables and in dips. Use the flowers in the pickle jar Use the seeds for herbal vinegar, in pickling and for teas.
